Common questions about file delivery, retention, payments and platform policies.
Official information about Secretfile's policies and platform practices.
The default maximum file size is 1 GB per upload. This limit is admin-configurable and may be adjusted based on operational requirements or storage backend capacity.
Files are retained for 30 days of inactivity. As long as a file is downloaded at least once within that 30-day window, it will not be deleted. Inactivity is measured from the last download or unlock access.
If no download or unlock occurs for 30 consecutive days, the file may be marked as inactive and eventually removed from active storage. Buyers who previously unlocked the file will still see it in their library as an inactive record.
Unlocking a file is a voluntary action initiated by the buyer. Once access has been granted, the transaction is considered final. Refunds are not provided for unlocked content.
If you believe a file violates our terms of service or applicable law, please submit a report through the Abuse / Report page rather than requesting a refund.
For general inquiries, you can reach the platform operator at support [at] secretfile.app. For abuse reports and takedown requests, please use the dedicated Abuse / Report page.
